SuRPriSe SuRpRiSe!

Alo all! Today is a really surpring saturday for me... so let me recap and share with u peeps ma story... :o)

After werk... Babey fetched me and we went to Bedok to buy ma contact lenses...

On da Way to BeDoK

the one dat i'm wearing is already da last pair... so have to buy new ones asap... kalau tak potek lah aku.... heheh... there's a shop at Bedok which sells 3 boxes for 40 bucks... dat's why we have to go to Bedok first... Dropped by library for a while then went to buy the contact lenses...

Dat's one pair of the contact lenses... hehehe... after dat we were actually supposed to go to Breeks to mamam... but since we are going to the esplanade later to see da fireworks display... Babey wants to eat at Suntec instead...

So da plan to eat at Breeks was cancelled... will go there some other day... Upon reaching Suntec.... there are quite a number of road closures due to the NDP Preview held today... so we parked our car at Shaw Towers carpark... preparing ourselves to pay quite a lot for the parking as we are gonna leave the car there till nite...

After parking da car... we walked to Suntec... searched for any restaurants dat we cud eat.... at last decided to eat at Swensens.... Da swensens at Suntec looks very nice... they use the Zen concept... and couples seats are located at the corner whereby couples can sit and dine at their own privacy i gez....

Seeing us a couple... they of coz directed us straight to one of the tables for the couples corner... very soothing ambience... though its a bit dark... hehehe... somemore the seats are comfy sofas... very very comfy....

WhiLe WaitinG 4 da FooD

i decided to eat something different... Chilla Pasta with Crayfish.... Babey ate the Sirloin Steak... with french fries as side dishes... the chilla pasta was not so bad actually... but due to im having a very bad throat... i cudn't eat much of it... Babey helped to finish all da food...

Dats our french fries and banana split... we shared the split as i can't eat too much ice cream due to da bad sore throat.... We ate and dine while listening to da music... After mamam we went window shopping... actually supposed to window shop only... but then turned out Samuel & Kevin has a very big sale... 6 bucks per top.. apa lagi... me and Babey grabbed some lah... ehhehe.. opportunity can't be missed... :o)

After dat we actually wanna sit and 'chop' a place for Qisha, Mummy & Daddy to see the fireworks at esplanade... Along the way we saw the army tankers and vehicles all stationed on da road waiting to march past the Padang for the Preview later...

Cool rite?? ... heheh... men in green uniform...hmmm... same as my Babey lah... hehehe... we were actually hanging round da area... then i told Babey that this is my first yr after so many years dat i can't watch the preview or NDP.... coz the last few yrs we got tixz... we can't get them this yr... so i was kinda a bit disappointed dat i can't watch the preview...

While standing at the side of the road near to Raffles MRT... suddenly there's this one Chinese couple approached us...

Lady Couple to Me: Excuse me... do you guys wanna watch the preview... i have 2 tixz if you want... FOC dun worry...

I was looking at her and back to Babey... cam dalam mimpi gitu kan... baru tadi i was telling Babey how dissappointed i was dat i can't watch the preview... now someone's offering us tixz!!

Hahhaha... i realy can't describe the feeling i had then... ehhehe... of coz we grabbed the tixz... and sed thank u to da couple... hahaha... Its like a dream come true... eheheh...

I can watch my preview this yr too!!! .... i fon Mummy up asap... telling them dat we can't meet them at Esplanade... told her wat happened... and so later then we'll be meeting up with them... they'll be outside watching the fireworks...

We are so excited then... we got da tixz to the blue Sector...it was already 6 plus... so of coz most of the seats are occupied... we have to sit rite up to the top... but its okay... we'll still enjoy... :o)

Da Pre-Parade Segments...

It was really fun i tell u... after the parade came the aerial displays... then the mobile displays... it was especially beautiful when its nite time... the view's magnificent...

Its a totally radical experience... they have these lighted up kites or flying saucers too... but i didn't manage to catch their picz as it was too far and too dark to capture... da fireworks was of coz marvellous too... but from where we are sitting we can't catch da fireworks dat much... have to turn our heads and look behind coz the firewerks rite behind us.... but wateva it is... the feeling is soooo syiokkk... ehhehe... juz when i tot this yr i can't watch the preview or NDP... here i am enjoying my butts out... hehehe.. its a total surprise for us...

We met up with Mummy, Daddy and Qisha at Beach Rd... ate dinner there... i didn't eat dinner... my throats too sore to eat anything... after dat we straightaway went home coz too tired by then...

As for me... i think im gonna be sick... well... see how tomorrow lah... rite now need to rest... c u guys around!
