NE ShoW

Its weekend again!!! yeayyy!!! ....

Today was not busy at werk at all.... and there's no Motorola today too... i even manage to chat with my long lost 'sista' ... ;o) .... u noe who u are... i'm really glad dat we are able to meet again after losing contact for almost two yrs... mish u sis... and hope to meet u soon ya... ;o)

After werk me had to go down to Ubi to give my IC to Bro's bike shop... for transfer of ownership of vehicle or something like dat... so Babey sent me there... and now i'm IC-less.... am a illegal immigrant for now... ehhehe

After dat we went to the library... borrowed some books for me to read... then had our lunch at Delifrance...

After lunch we went home first to relax... then at around 5 o'clock we went to pick Qisha, Mummy, Daddy and Bro up.... we are going to see the fire works today!! .... yippeee!!!

Today's the NE show... the NDP show dat's organized only for all the P5 kids in s'pore every yr... so its gonna be almost like the preview and the national day itself... So we went down to Boat Quay to catch the fireworks and the airplanes in action coz its held at the Padang this yr...

Boat Quay's still da same old place after so many yrs i've neva been there... but there's a lot of differences in the pubs too dat i've juz found out today... hehehe.. there's no more Rootz... most of the pub names have changed...

But anyway... today we are not there for the pubs... hehehe... today we are here for the NE show... and true enuff... the moment we reached the parachutes came down from the helicopter....

CooL huh?? hehhee... we find a nice spot... and waited patiently for the jet fighters dat's going fly past as well as the chinooks dat alwiz carries the big S'pore flag....

Even the birds waited patiently to see the aerial displays... hehehhe

HEeheh... actually they're waiting for food to be exact... not the aeroplanes... hehehe... but there's so many of the pigeons there i tell u....

At around 6.45pm... our waiting pays off... the chinooks fly past rite above us... and they are sooo damn huge boy....

Followed suit are the five jet fighter planes as per normal.... and they are so noisy... quote unquote si mak nenek Qisha.. hehehe

we tot dats the end of it... as per usual every yr... so have to wait for the fireworks lak ah.. but we are surprised after 10 mins later to see more planes coming... and later on more planes flying... went on for like 10 mins... the fighter planes doing stunts in da air... somersaulting.. turning... damn cool i tell u... i manage to capture a few shots only coz they are so damn fast... hehehe

Very very cool coz they are rite above us... makes me really wish dat i have tixz for the parade or the preview coz its extra special this yr with all the aerial displays ... i really wish to see it... :o( .... i hope Babey will try his best to get the tixz for me... but then.. no tix pun tak pe lah... see from outside only like today also enuff... ;o)
After the aerial displays came the land displays... with all the army tonners and tankers and civil defence trucks and police cars and wat nots...we can see them from where we sat coz they are sooo huge... i was thinking how are they gonna show the sea displays since there's no sea around... only s'pore river.. hehhee... so i tot there'll be no sea displays... but i was proven wrong... coz they put the army boats and the police coast guard boats on a lorry... hehehe... so actually the sea display is also on da ground... ehhee....
After the displays i gez they have the normal dancing and singing performances on the Padang... which we can only hear but are not able to see of coz... so we juz walked around the fullerton bridge and the s'pore river... and look wat i found at the side of the Fullerton Bridge...

Hehehe... Kucinta cats... but they are not real lah... statues jer... i didn't noe Kucinta cats are sooo tiny... but still adorable...
Sooo we juz hang around there while waiting for the fireworks... actually we're not so sure where they are gonna shoot the firewerks from... so we juz gamble to wait along Fullerton Bridge for the Firewerks... but too bad we took da wrong spot... coz at 8.05pm when they shoot the firewerks we can like see half of them only... the other half unable to see coz obstucted by Fullerton Hotel... aiyahhhh.... should have sit at Esplanade or the Merlion there lah... coz most prob they shot from the open field near Merlion... so from Esplanade confirm can see without any obstructions... never mind... 30th July can go again... hehehe... but nonetheless... we still manage to enjoy the fireworks...

i donno why fireworks will alwiz fascinates people... hmmm... but anyway... after dat we went to Beach Rd to mamam... after dat we straight away went home coz we are sooo damn beat.... tomorrow is another long day for me coz have to go for another frend's kenduri cukur rambut.... aiyahhhh....
i'm off to Dreamland now... GooD NiteZ....
